KU Leuven – een pedagoog?

Leuven University’s faculty of Pedagogy commissioned a short animation to inform future students about the versatility of Pedagogy. Too often this field of study gets vaguely summarised as “becoming a professional educator”.  Our explainer video playfully hints at the many roles in society that benefit from high level pedagogic skills and knowledge.

Visually our goal was to make creative use of the university’s somewhat dry brand colors by combining them with more organic strokes and textures.  The idea was to find a balance between a cute approachable illustrative style and more corporate geometric structures and patterns. The academic background manifests itself in several aspects of recognisable everyday life situations.
